Here’s to 2022!

Me at Morro Bay, CA during my winter vacation up the Pacific Coast!

2021

2021 has been a wild ride.

I decided to change things up and move from Charlotte, NC to Los Angeles.

I graduated from an intensive coding boot camp at Tech Elevator.

I attempted the hardest professional certification offered by the American Guild of Organists, the Fellowship Exam. I passed 1/2 sections. I hope to return in 2022 to finish the 2nd section.

I released music on Spotify for the first time.

I’m starting to build my network in LA and I’m happy to have found an interim position.

And, last week I went on a beautiful vacation with Dani!

We went up the Pacific coast to Cambria, CA. We stayed there for two days and enjoyed the nature preserves and yummy food.

Then we continued on to San Francisco to visit our friends there for Christmas. We visited SF MOMA and the Golden Gate Bridge.

What About 2022?

First things first, in 2022 I hope to find employment as a Software Engineer.

But, I also want to continue building my creative projects, which were paused during my studies at Tech Elevator.

  • Composing

  • Recording music

  • Classically Minded, my podcast…

Let’s see what the future has in store!

Kindly,

Garrett
