Education
Piano came first, then organ. Formal study began at St. Joseph's Parish in Sylvania, Ohio, continued at Interlochen Arts Academy with Tom Bara, then culminated at the Cleveland Institute of Music under concert organist Todd Wilson.
Degrees: Bachelor of Music in Organ Performance and Music Theory (CIM), Master of Music in Organ Performance (CIM), Graduate Certificate in Historical Performance (Case Western Reserve University).
Cathedral Residencies
A residency at Ely Cathedral in 2014, and another at Durham Cathedral in 2019 leading the Mastersingers of the Charlotte Choir School.
Current Position
Director of Music at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Covina, California. Building a growing choral program with paid section leaders and volunteers. Playing pipe organ at the 10:15am Rite II service and piano at the 12:15pm Spanish service in the Capilla de Nuestra Madre de Guadalupe.
Charlotte Choir School
Assistant Director from 2018 to 2021, leading five choirs spanning ages 8 to 80+, from professional to volunteer singers and instrumentalists. Simultaneously served as Organist and Choirmaster at St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Charlotte.
